SAFETY
Public safety is paramount to this campaign and to Wade’s vision for serving the city of Lomita. Community cannot strive without safe traffic conditions, safe drinking water, safe parks, affordable housing and recreation areas. Working on these priorities and more is Wade’s promise to Lomita.
The crime rate is coming down in Los Angeles County, but we cannot rest on our laurels. Wade will work with the community to identify issues that impact crime rates with a focus on improvement.
DIVERSITY
Lomita is a highly diverse city. Its diversity is one of its strengths. Its diversity should be celebrated and reflected in its leadership. As a city council member of Lomita, Wade will strive to create an environment that is inclusive because he understands that a community that fosters a sense of inclusion is a more welcoming, stronger, and safer community.
The leadership of the city is a crucial factor in fostering an environment where all residents feel welcomed to participate and expect to have their voices heard.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Community engagement is a cornerstone of democracy. Wade believes that community engagement can increase business opportunities, strengthen relationships with existing businesses, organizations, schools, churches, and the community at large. Community engagement makes policies and programs more equitable and fair.
With the involvement of the community, the Lomita City Council can deepen its understanding of community needs, challenges, and aspirations. Wade Kyle has a demonstrated track record of building healthy relationships and establishing coalitions that accomplish what was thought to be unaccomplishable.
